We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped out for the Wounded Warrior Classic.  We were honored to take care of 15 of our nations finest Veterans for the weekend.  I think that the Trio guys probably had more fun than they did.  They were some of the best guys we have had the opportunity to meet and hang out with.  A special thanks to Daniel, Nick, Jacob, Mark, and the whole Run-N-Gun Team.  It was truly an honor to work with these guys.  Also would like to thank Buzzy Romine (Triangle Turf Farms), Poco Playa Restaurant, Tropical Maniac, American Rodsmith, Midcoast Products, Full Stringer Rentals, Saltgrass Lodge, and Capital Farm Credit for all that they did as well.  We were truly humbled by this experience and are looking forward to next year!  if you have not entered for the Texas Trio Tournament do it soon as spots are starting to fill up and we have yet to hit May.  Thanks to everyone involved with The Wounded Warrior Classic.  With out people like you we would not
 be able to do what we do.

Tournament registration is now open.  You can register your team online or by mail, using our printable form.  Remember there are only 50 spots available for each division.  We recommend registering early to avoid missing out and getting a chance to win our early entry giveaway.

“The Texas Trio Classic has two simple goals. Fish For A Cure and host the best inshore fishing tournament in the state”.

Over past several years the tournament has donated to many charities including the Matagorda Wellness Foundation, American Cancer Society (Matagorda County Branch), various non-profit organizations and people in Matagorda County. Because of your support The Trio Classic is one of the largest bay fishing tournaments on the Texas Gulf Coast.

The growth of this tournament is amazing. We started in 2008 with 19 teams and a dream. Last year's 7th annual event brought 80 teams and together we raised over $50,000. With new goals in 2015, we do not plan on slowing down anytime soon.

We greatly appreciate your previous donations to the Texas Trio Classic Fishing Tournament and look forward to your continued support in 2015.

2015 Tournament Registration

We are working hard to finalizing the 2015 tournament rules.  Online registration will open up as soon as they are posted to the website. If you would like to be notified immediately when registration is open please like us on Facebook or subscribe to our mailing list with the form below.
