Bill Gormley

September 7, 1946 - March 9, 2015

Inducted as Life Time Member on June 13, 2015

Bill Gormley was always a solid part of the local community, where he made time for friends, colleagues, and
his family alike. He brought a smile to everyone's face, and was always ready to tell one of his humorous stories.  Whether you knew him as a
friend, co-worker, or that guy often seen running around the high school track, he was big on living life to the fullest...giving it all
and taking time for all.

He lived with no regrets, respecting others while earning their respect.  Bill served his country as a United
States Marine, where he learned about honor, hard work, and discipline.

The Marine Corps Toys For Tots was just another avenue Bill used to serve our community through the years. Working hard and taking care of others was his life's motto.

After surviving other types of cancers, Bill was diagnosed with advanced stage kidney cancer, which he took head on like
the Marine he was, and battled it all so courageously.
He unfortunately lost the good fight in March, and is dearly missed by his friends and family. Bill would most
assuredly encourage everyone to live their lives to the fullest, making sure not to take anything or anyone for granted.

May he forever rest in peace, and until we see you again, Semper Fidelis Big Bill!
