CALCUTTA 2012

- All teams registered in the tournament will be auctioned off.
- All teams must be paid participants in Texas Trio Classic tournament in order to enter Calcutta.
- Teams must be signed up by 8 pm Friday June 8th in order to participate in Calcutta.
- Calcutta will be split and pay for both “Open” and “Artificial” divisions.
- Each team has the option to buy Calcutta boat insurance for $100 upon registration. This guarantees the team ½ of their boat’s Calcutta prize winnings.
- The remaining ½ of the participating team’s boats will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. A team is allowed to bid on themselves in order to have the opportunity to hold full Calcutta winnings for their teams.
- If a team does not choose to buy Calcutta boat insurance that entire team will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
- Both the $100 Calcutta boat insurance as well as the money that is raised in the auction for the participating boats will be placed in the Calcutta pot.
- Teams can register for Calcutta and tournament from 5-8pm Friday June 8th at Fireman's hall in Matagorda TX or anytime during early registration.
- Dinner, drinks and live entertainment will be provided to all sign in participants of tournament on Fri. June 8th at Fireman's Hall.
- Non fishing contestants are welcome to join Fri. festivities. There will be $10 minimum donation for all non contestants. (Includes dinner, drinks and live entertainment)
- Payout for Calcutta will be as followed:
Open Division Calcutta Artificial Division Calcutta 1st Place 60% of open division auction 1st Place 60% of artificial division auction 2nd Place 30% of open division auction 2nd Place 30% of artificial division auction 3rd Place 10% of open division auction 3rd Place 10% of artificial division auction - Teams must be present in order to participate in Calcutta
